Burger King Introduces "Little King" To Promote Healthy Kids Meals

Bk-ad-little-kingx-large The traditional school of thought tells marketers to target kids when promoting food and toys, but Burger King is targeting moms with ads for a new kids meal that is meant as a healthier alternative to hamburgers and fries. The meal includes Kraft macaroni and cheese paired with apple slices shaped like french fries. TV ads feature a new character, "Little King," son of the burger chain's royal mascot, who presumably does not suffer from childhood obesity and diabetes.
