The Chinese and "Good Enough" Products

Chinaflag_2Chinese companies are making "good enough" products: reliable, low-cost goods for China's burgeoning population of midlevel consumers. The folks at the Harvard Business Review say it is a market that global brands are neglecting.

The makers of these "good enough" products plan to use the same strategy to challenge the multinationals in other emerging markets, too. What's a major company to do?
