Scottish Trains To Become 100mph Billboards

Train
Scotland's newspaper, the Daily Record, is reporting that Scottish trains could soon become giant mobile billboards. The 100pmh Class 170 trains of First ScotRail will be made available for branding in 2007.

From Glasgow to Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen trains will be available for "wrapping" in advertisers' livery. The driver's cabs and all three carriages, each with seating for up to 190 people, can be wrapped for 12 months.

The tranist authority is open to all takers, with the number of trains made available for branding will depend on demand.
